Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately using the property management system.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and check transactions, ensuring all policies are followed.
- Assist with guest luggage and transportation arrangements as needed.
- Monitor hotel security systems and report any suspicious activities or maintenance issues to management.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Proficiency with computers and basic software applications.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
