Responsibilities
- Clean and Sanitize: Thoroughly clean guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas to the highest standards of hygiene.
- Bed Making: Strip beds and make them up with fresh linens, ensuring a neat and welcoming appearance.
- Amenity Restocking: Replace amenities such as soaps, shampoos, and lotions to meet brand specifications.
- Laundry Care: Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and guest clothing as required.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the maintenance department immediately.
- Stocking: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure efficiency during shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods; ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
