Lead our premier downtown Detroit hospitality team at the iconic Grand Hotel Detroit. As Senior Hotel Manager, you'll drive exceptional guest experiences while overseeing daily operations at our 250-room luxury property. Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue growth
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Handle complex guest inquiries and service recovery situations
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on promotional campaigns
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
- Analyze financial reports and adjust operational strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 5+ years progressive hotel management experience
- Proven track record in luxury or boutique hotel operations
- Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Valid Michigan Food Service Manager certification
