Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying identity and collecting payment information accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries to the appropriate department promptly.
- Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the property management system (PMS).
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor the lobby and reception area to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Assist with luggage handling, directions, and general concierge services.
- Perform security lock-up procedures and close-out reports at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous front desk or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with computer reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage.
