Responsibilities
- Manage seamless check-in/check-out procedures using Opera PMS
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Upsell premium rooms and amenities to maximize revenue
- Maintain a pristine lobby environment
- Execute emergency protocols during severe weather events
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel front desk experience preferred
- Proficiency in reservation systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of Houston attractions and transportation
- Texas Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
