Responsibilities
- Guest Reception: Manage the front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and luggage handling with a smile.
- Communication Hub: Answer multi-line phone systems professionally and route calls to the appropriate departments.
- Reservation Management: Assist with booking rooms, managing room rates, and updating guest profiles in our PMS system.
- Mail & Courier: Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and faxes efficiently.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints or issues immediately and escalate to management when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate logs of arrivals and departures, process credit cards, and balance the till at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a front desk or hospitality role is preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Professionalism: Must present a neat, professional appearance and possess a warm, welcoming personality.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
