Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out procedures with efficiency and warmth
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and room assignments using Opera PMS
- Resolve guest concerns promptly, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and maintain accurate transaction records
- Act as local concierge, providing recommendations for Louisville attractions and dining
- Collaborate with security team to ensure guest safety and property security
- Maintain organized front desk operations during peak hours and special events
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, ALICE, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments with composure
- Basic knowledge of Louisville tourism and local attractions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
