Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations including check-in/check-out, reservations, and VIP guest services
- Train and mentor 10+ front desk agents on service standards and property systems
- Resolve complex guest complaints with innovative solutions
- Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and security teams
- Manage room inventory and rate strategy implementation
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety protocols
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years hotel front desk experience with 2+ years in leadership
- Proficiency in Opera/PMS and channel management systems
- Exceptional conflict resolution and communication skills
- Valid Texas Food Handler's Certificate (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of Houston tourism and attractions
