Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, check them in efficiently, and ensure a smooth check-out process.
- Reservations: Manage incoming calls and emails, updating room availability and making reservations using hotel property management software.
- Problem Solving: Address guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests promptly to ensure a memorable stay experience.
- Housekeeping Liaison: Communicate maintenance requests and room cleaning needs to the housekeeping team to maintain high standards.
- Front Desk Operations: Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate daily logs.
- Brand Representation: Represent The Louisville Grand Hotel with a professional, polished, and hospitable demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Attitude: A positive, friendly, and service-oriented mindset is essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to converse fluently in English.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, professional, and dependable.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
