Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations, check-in/check-out procedures, and guest services during assigned shifts
- Manage staff scheduling, performance coaching, and conflict resolution for 10-15 team members
- Handle escalated guest complaints with professionalism and maintain high satisfaction scores
- Monitor room inventory, housekeeping efficiency, and maintenance requests
- Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures for guests and staff
- Collaborate with departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance) for cohesive operations
- Train new staff on brand standards and operational workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years hotel supervisory experience in front desk or guest services
- Proven shift management and staff leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional guest service focus
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays (shift work)
- Knowledge of PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Virginia Food Handler certification preferred
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
