Responsibilities
- Maintain pristine guest rooms and common areas according to 5-star standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linen
- Operate commercial-grade cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols
- Respond promptly to guest requests and special instructions
- Coordinate with maintenance team for room readiness
- Complete detailed inspection checklists
- Assist with deep cleaning projects during low-occupancy periods
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping experience
- Valid Michigan driver's license (if required for shuttle duties)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours with frequent bending/stooping
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with Eco-friendly cleaning products preferred
