Responsibilities
- Manage seamless check-in/check-out processes for weekend guests
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues with professionalism
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Utilize hotel management software (Opera) for reservations and occupancy tracking
- Execute upselling strategies to enhance guest experiences and revenue
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Flexible weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts required)
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, FOSSE preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and local transportation
- Valid Illinois driver's license (for valet support as needed)
