Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs efficiently using hotel software (Opera)
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and room assignments
- Process payments, manage billing discrepancies, and handle cash/credit transactions
- Resolve guest complaints with empathy and proactive solutions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for special requests
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidential information
- Assist with valet services and luggage handling during peak hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS)
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency highly valued
- Flexible weekend availability (Fri/Sat/Sun shifts)
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
