Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, managing check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local directions.
- Monitor the front desk area and lobby, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Process payments accurately using the property management system (PMS) and handle cash reconciliation.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
- Assist with light administrative duties, including mail sorting and filing.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with patience, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
