Role Overview:
The Weekend Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests. You will serve as the face of our hotel, managing reservations, answering inquiries, and ensuring every guest interaction leaves a lasting positive impression.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression upon arrival.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS) such as Opera or StayNTouch.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails with grace, maintaining a professional and helpful tone.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly, resolving them to the guest's satisfaction.
- Assist with concierge services, providing local recommendations and directions.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Friday through Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PMS software (e.g., Opera, MICROS) is a plus.
- A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
