Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with strict accuracy and adherence to hotel policies.
- Maintain a pristine lobby area, including cleanliness of the front desk, seating areas, and public restrooms.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation options.
- Resolve guest complaints or special requests in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and some holidays as required.
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic office software (POS experience is a plus).
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
