The Role:
In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for our valued guests, managing the front desk operations during our peak weekend hours. You will ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes while providing personalized recommendations for local attractions.
Responsibilities
- Execute seamless check-in and check-out procedures for guests arriving on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Manage the front desk queue efficiently, maintaining a low wait time while upholding service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with a focus on resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with concierge services, including restaurant reservations and local transportation arrangements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, front desk, and public areas.
- Process payments and post charges accurately to guest folios using the property management system (PMS).
- Collaborate with housekeeping and engineering teams to ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous hospitality experience in a luxury hotel or high-volume customer service role is preferred.
- Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Proficiency with computers and property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
