Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and attractions
- Manage check-in/check-out processes with precision and efficiency
- Coordinate transportation arrangements including rideshares, taxis, and hotel shuttles
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requests
- Assist with event coordination and VIP guest arrangements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or luxury customer service experience
- Deep knowledge of Detroit's neighborhoods, landmarks, and events
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays with flexible availability
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, etc.)
- Valid Michigan driver's license preferred
- Fluency in English; multilingual skills a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
