Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs efficiently using hotel management systems
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with exceptional service
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash drawer reconciliation
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance requests promptly
- Upsell hotel amenities and room upgrades to enhance revenue
- Maintain security protocols for guest safety and property protection
- Collaborate with cross-department teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Fri-Sun) and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification a plus
