We're seeking a Weekend Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional hospitality during peak Saturday/Sunday shifts. As the first point of contact for our discerning guests, you'll create memorable arrivals and departures while handling check-ins, reservations, and special requests. This role offers growth opportunities into supervisory positions and includes complimentary resort amenities.
Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera property management system
- Handle high-volume phone inquiries and coordinate with housekeeping/management teams
- Process payments and resolve billing discrepancies with precision
- Upsell premium rooms, spa packages, and dining experiences
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidential information
- Resolve guest complaints with empathy and solution-focused approaches
- Execute emergency procedures and security protocols
Qualifications
- 2+ years luxury hotel front desk experience required
- Proficiency in Opera property management system
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure weekend rushes
- Valid Virginia hospitality certification preferred
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of Virginia Beach tourism attractions
