Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all hotel operations during the weekend shift, ensuring all departments (Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance) run efficiently.
- Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and resolve complex guest complaints with empathy and efficiency to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Staff Management: Schedule, train, and supervise weekend staff, including front desk agents and housekeeping attendants, ensuring high morale and adherence to company policies.
- Revenue Management: Monitor room availability, upsell packages, and manage occupancy rates to maximize revenue during the weekend peak.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet Grand Harbor Hospitality’s exacting cleanliness and safety standards.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel management, front desk supervision, or luxury hospitality.
- Schedule: Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (or rotating weekend shifts).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
- Problem Solving: Strong crisis management skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attitude: A positive, guest-first attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
