Responsibilities
- Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, public areas, and restrooms according to established health and safety standards.
- Bed Making: Ensure all beds are made with crisp linens and are arranged according to hotel specifications.
- Restocking: Monitor and replenish amenities such as toiletries, soap, towels, and coffee supplies.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately.
- Laundry: Sort, wash, fold, and iron linens and towels as required.
- Organization: Maintain a clutter-free environment in all assigned areas and adhere to time management schedules.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with the management team and guests.
- Reliability: A consistent work history and punctuality are essential.
