Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to strict hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) in guest rooms.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop hard floors to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners in guest rooms and public areas.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or missing items to the Housekeeping Manager immediately.
- Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used safely and stored properly.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus but not required; training is provided.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- Excellent time management skills to complete rooms efficiently.
