Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning of guest rooms, suites, and public areas (hallways, restrooms, lobbies) to the highest hotel standards.
- Ensure all amenities are stocked, organized, and presentable in guest rooms.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or damages, and report them immediately to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols and chemical handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Move furniture and equipment as necessary for cleaning and room preparation.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Adhere to time schedules to ensure rooms are ready for check-in according to occupancy plans.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull furniture and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Basic English proficiency and professional communication skills.
