Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently process guest check-ins, check-outs, and room changes using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Guest Assistance: Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist guests with inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel amenities.
- Lobby Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area and public spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Problem Solving: Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Experience: No prior hospitality experience required; we value attitude and aptitude over experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) or Property Management Systems is a plus.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Professionalism: A neat appearance and a friendly, professional demeanor are essential.
