Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests with a warm smile, assist with check-in/check-out procedures, and provide accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Front Desk Support: Answer incoming calls professionally, manage correspondence, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared.
- Reception Duties: Operate switchboard and reception systems efficiently; handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Event Coordination: Assist in setting up for conferences and banquets, ensuring the venue meets high standards of presentation.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a memorable stay.
- General Hospitality: Maintain a clean and organized reception area and assist in various departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We are looking for attitude and aptitude.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong customer service focus.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn hotel management software quickly.
- Physical Demand: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 20 lbs).
