Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces according to brand standards
- Restock supplies including linens, toiletries, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently (vacuums, floor buffers, etc.)
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly to management
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental sustainability practices
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and submit restock requests
- Provide exceptional guest service during room visits and common area interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to multiple hotel locations in Houston
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
