Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens to minimize waste and maximize cost-efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on best practices, safety protocols, and luxury service standards.
- Collaborate with the Front Office and Engineering departments to address guest requests and maintenance issues efficiently.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating a diverse team to achieve high performance.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including standard operating procedures for cleaning and maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid California Driver's License and willingness to travel within the property.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems.
- A passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail.
