Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy and professionalism
- Process payments, maintain accurate cash handling procedures, and reconcile daily reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for room status updates
- Upsell hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain detailed guest records and ensure data accuracy in reservation systems
- Execute emergency protocols and safety procedures as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or front desk operations
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of El Paso attractions and transportation options
