Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, managing check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage the front desk operations, including mail distribution, package handling, and concierge services.
- Process payments and reconcile daily financial transactions accurately using hotel management software.
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with grace and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera, GuestNet).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift light luggage (up to 25 lbs).
