Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest check-in/check-out experiences with efficiency and warmth
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing inquiries with precision
- Address guest concerns promptly and coordinate with housekeeping/security teams
- Process payments, maintain accurate cash handling procedures, and reconcile daily reports
- Utilize hotel management systems to optimize occupancy and maximize revenue
- Act as local tourism ambassador with comprehensive knowledge of Long Beach attractions
- Maintain immaculate front desk appearance and operational standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or high-volume customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (if required for property errands)
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure
- Basic math skills for handling cash and financial transactions
