Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor
- Manage reservations and optimize room inventory using Opera PMS
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with prompt, personalized solutions
- Process payments accurately and maintain secure financial transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Execute upselling techniques for room upgrades and hotel amenities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Qualifications
- 1+ years of front desk or customer service experience in hospitality
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic mathematical aptitude for cash handling
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of Sacramento attractions and local transportation a plus
