Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service during check-in, check-out, and throughout guest stays
- Manage reservations and room assignments using Opera property management system
- Handle billing inquiries, payments, and cash drawer reconciliation
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve guest requests promptly
- Act as local tourism ambassador with knowledge of Portland's attractions
- Maintain accurate guest records and confidential information
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
Qualifications
- 1+ years of hotel or high-end customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
