Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera PMS while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Manage room reservations, upgrades, and VIP requests with proactive communication
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with solutions-oriented approach
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions securely
- Execute upselling strategies for room enhancements and local experiences
- Maintain detailed guest preference profiles for personalized service
Qualifications
- 2+ years hotel front desk or high-end customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional conflict resolution and multitasking abilities
- Strong knowledge of Austin attractions, dining, and events
- Professional appearance and polished communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Valid Texas Food Handler certification preferred
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency a plus
