Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes and room assignments
- Handle reservation inquiries and modifications via phone/in-person
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Promote hotel amenities and local attractions
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk environment
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality/customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera)
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions and transportation
