Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests with precision
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
- Address guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly using hotel resources
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions and special requests
- Uphold brand standards and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or customer service role
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid Illinois driver's license preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation options
