We are currently seeking a dynamic and personable Front Desk Agent to join our dedicated hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and efficiency.
- Process payments accurately and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet high standards.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Utilize property management software to update guest profiles and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in training new staff members on hotel procedures and standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or reception role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office and hotel PMS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
