Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, checking them in efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and generate accurate nightly reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby space.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival.
- Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to emails promptly.
- Assist in processing reservations and managing special requests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business coursework a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for cash handling.
