Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/out processes efficiently with warm hospitality
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and room assignments accurately
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures meticulously
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet services
- Utilize hotel management software (Opera, etc.) for daily operations
- Provide local recommendations and concierge services to enhance guest experiences
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years front desk or hospitality customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively during peak periods
- Valid New York State driver's license (if required for local errands)
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
