Responsibilities
- Provide warm, personalized check-in/check-out services while maintaining accurate reservation records
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and urgency
- Process payments and manage billing transactions using hotel management systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet teams to ensure seamless operations
- Uphold brand standards through meticulous attention to detail and service recovery protocols
- Act as local tourism ambassador with comprehensive knowledge of San Diego attractions
- Maintain security protocols for guest safety and property protection
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or high-volume customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera, Fidelio, or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving abilities with conflict resolution expertise
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record (for valet coordination)
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
