Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they step through the door.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, including verifying identification, processing payments, and issuing room keys.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Problem Solving: Address guest questions and resolve complaints or issues in a calm, courteous, and efficient manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Office Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including filing, ordering supplies, and managing the logbook.
- Scheduling: Assist with managing room availability and communicating special requests to housekeeping and maintenance staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We are looking for trainability and enthusiasm.
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and POS (Point of Sale) systems; willingness to learn new software is a plus.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Attitude: A professional, positive demeanor and a strong work ethic.
