Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using PMS systems
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and local expertise
- Coordinate room assignments and special requests
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Resolve guest complaints with discretion and urgency
- Execute upselling strategies for premium services
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation
- Basic computer literacy and multitasking ability
- Valid Illinois driver's license (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
