Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins/checkouts and reservation processes
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Utilize hotel management systems (e.g., Opera) for daily operations
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel/front desk experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with reservation systems and MS Office
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays
- Valid Ohio driver's license (if required for local errands)
- Basic knowledge of Columbus attractions and transportation
