Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using hotel management systems while maintaining accurate records
- Process payments, manage reservations, and resolve billing discrepancies with precision
- Provide local recommendations for dining, attractions, and events to enhance guest experiences
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance requests to ensure seamless operations
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and discretion
- Perform daily audits of cash handling and financial transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service experience in hospitality
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and multilingual abilities (Spanish/French a plus)
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans tourism landscape
