Responsibilities
- Greets guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing all check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Answers multi-line phone systems professionally, directing calls to the appropriate department or taking detailed messages.
- Handles guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with patience and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Manages the front desk console, including processing credit card payments, handling cash, and maintaining accurate daily logs.
- Distributes mail, packages, and messages promptly to guests and staff.
- Maintains the lobby, reception area, and common spaces to ensure a pristine and welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with property management systems (PMS).
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
