Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently using our property management system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate department with professionalism.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with patience and empathy, escalating to management when necessary to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and manage financial transactions accurately, including cash, credit cards, and digital wallets.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to uphold a professional and inviting appearance.
- Assist with luggage handling and valet services to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address room maintenance requests promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
