Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for guests via phone, email, and in-person, answering inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel amenities.
- Operations: Manage the front desk console, handle cash and credit transactions, and process nightly reports accurately.
- Problem Solving: Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure a seamless stay and high guest satisfaction scores.
- Housekeeping Liaison: Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival and address any maintenance requests immediately.
- Security: Monitor building access, verify identification, and ensure the safety and security of all guests and property.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, guest services, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Diploma: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Language: Bilingual skills (Spanish) are highly desirable.
