Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests warmly, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and answer inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel services.
- Reservation Management: Manage the front desk reservation system accurately, including handling walk-ins, making changes to bookings, and coordinating room assignments.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints and requests efficiently and professionally, escalating complex issues to management while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate guest records, process payments, and manage the daily reconciliation of the cash drawer and credit card transactions.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Security: Adhere to all hotel security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or customer service is preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computer systems, property management software (PMS), and POS systems.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of a second language is a plus.
