Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet arriving guests warmly, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Reservations: Manage the reservation system, update guest profiles, and handle special requests to ensure a personalized stay.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters to the manager when necessary.
- Operations: Monitor the front desk area to ensure it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Security: Verify identification and maintain security protocols for all guests and visitors entering the property.
- Financials: Process payments accurately, post charges to guest accounts, and prepare daily shift reports.
- Communication: Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business coursework is a plus.
- Experience: Previous front desk or customer service experience preferred, but we are happy to train motivated entry-level candidates.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Technology: Proficiency with hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
