Responsibilities
- Perform efficient check-in and check-out procedures for guests, ensuring all documentation is accurate and billing is processed correctly.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, providing information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and room availability.
- Manage the front desk operations, including handling cash transactions, processing credit cards, and reconciling daily bank deposits.
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, reception area, and common spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with reservations management and room assignments to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; hospitality or business degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or customer service within the hotel industry.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Fidelio, or similar software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
